Part product designer, part naturalist, and part modern art enthusiast, Lilly Maybank’s geometrical approach to space makes her interiors a form of subconscious therapy and home a private retreat where one can rest, dream, create and roll the dice.
With an extensive network of contacts in the London and Los Angeles art worlds, Lilly can find both arresting statement pieces that define a home and hidden gems to tuck in a secluded corner.
Her background designing destination hotels, night clubs, and celebrity suites give Lilly’s residential interiors an escapist feel and an unexpected edge, defined by architectural finishes and unique fabrics and furniture.
Lilly Maybank started her career working for Butterfield's Auction House in Singapore, afterwards she developed home bedding lines in the textile industry then after design school worked as a hospitality designer in Manhattan. She has done residential interior designs, home staging & styling and has worked in the design industry since 2004.
Lilly studied at Art Center College of Design, RISD, and the College of Charleston. She was raised in Charleston, South Carolina where she developed a finely-tuned eye for architecture, well-edited elegant interiors and a love of formal gardens.
Lilly’s philosophy is “Simplicity is the new opulence.”
